John Hanson earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota. and has more than 25 years in the paper industry. The last 7 years he has been Vice President and General Manager of Litin Paper, which means he's responsible for the overall success and growth of Litin Paper.
John appreciates how Litin employee's unique strengths, talent, and experience, fit perfectly together to make up the Litin Paper team. As an executive he has the ability to focus on what is right for the business and it's customers, without the handcuffs of a large corporation. His strong experienced team provide the power to execute Litin's corporate plan under John's leadership.
32-year paper veteran, Steve Young is Litin's Purchasing Manager. He says coming to work for Litin 15 years ago was one of the best decisions of his life. Steve says that there are no dull moments, great variety, and time flies when he's at work. "Often customers look to us as their resource to find almost everything. We have many opportunities to be "heroes" to our customers. "Steve likes the freedom of a small company like Litin being able to react to purchasing decisions in the marketplace quickly. And his work philosophy is to treat others as he would like to be treated.
Steve's a graduate from Rasmussen business school, loves to snowmobile, and work on cars in his spare time. He cherishes spending quality time with his children, Matt & Jennie. And escapes by snowmobiling in the woods as a favorite getaway. He supports the Humane Society as a great cause and has a dog, Toby, that entertains by begging and rolling over for the small pitance of a dog treat.
Marlan Kuhlmann has worked with Litin for the past 26 years. He's responsible for sales, sales training, and converting sales at Litin. He likes that every day at Litin Paper is different. He earned his Business Management stripes from St. Thomas and has a philosophy that he shares with those who work around him. "When you are at work...work!"
In addition to his steadfast influence at Litin, he enjoys tennis, and his kid's sports, and watching his children grow up. Secretly Marlan wishes he invented the computer, and he looks forward to his vacations with his family--anywhere.
Darvin McGerr has worked for Litin Paper for 31 years in sales and new business development. Darvin was the State Bowling Singles Champion in 1977 and has worked has been a bowling coach for the past 37 years. We like knowing that if Litin ever had a spontaneous bowling play-off between a competitive paper company; that Darvin could bowl clean-up, and pick-up the splits for us.
Dale Nerison is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and the Payroll for Litin. He has enjoyed working with the Litin folks for the past 10 years which includes the customers and vendors that he interacts with daily.
