Bro-Tex was originally
founded in 1923 as the Minnesota Rag and Paper Stock Company, Inc. by
Arnold Greenberg and Charles Brotsky as a supplier of mixed wiping
rags. Through acquisitions and expansions the company added the fiber
department and the laundry department to become a full service wiping
rag supplier.
Roger Greenberg,
Arnold's son, purchased complete control of the company from the Brotsky
family in 1957 and in 1960, changed the name to Bro-Tex Company, Inc.
BRO-TEX was the trade name of the Wiping Cloth Department of the
company.
